ROY E. ADCOCK Roy Adcock was born Sept. 27th, 1932 in Des Moines, Iowa to Clem and Alma Adcock. Roy was the 7th child of six boys and one girl. Roy grew up in Chariton, Iowa and spent his High School years in Tucumcari, New Mexico. Roy served in the Army as a Corporal in the Korean War and upon completing his service with an honorable discharge, headed west for California. Roy was an accomplished businessman, entrepreneur and could be found at one of his many Texaco gas stations, or Adcock Auto Supply Stores throughout Riverside. He made many lifelong friends and enjoyed partnering with his brothers, Don and Bob, for over 36 years. It was at one of these gas stations he first met, and then married his sweetheart of 49 years, Lora. They raised four boys in Riverside: Kenneth, Jeffrey, Scott and Christopher. Roy was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. Roy was a generous supporter of Riverside youth programs and Poly High School sports. Roy is survived by his wife, Lora; his four sons, Kenneth, Jeffrey, Scott, Christopher; two brothers, Philip, Bob and 14 grandchildren. The viewing and services will be held at Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary, 7944 Magnolia Avenue, Riverside, CA. Viewing Wed., July 1st 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Services Thursday, July 2nd, 12:00 noon. Interment to follow services at Olivewood Cemetery, 3300 Central Avenue, Riverside, CA. Acheson & Graham Mortuary (951) 688-1221
