Warren W. Callery
Warren Worthington Callery, 79 a resident at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown, Iowa died Thursday November 2,1989 at the Veterans Hospital in Des Moines where he had been a patient since September 20. He had been in failing health for the past year. Mr. Callery was a former resident of Webster City. Funeral services will be held November 6 at 10:00 AM at the Iowa Veterans Home. Burial will be in the Iowa Veterans Home Cemetery in Marshalltown. Visitation at the Estel Perrin Avery Funeral Home will be from 2 to 9 PM, Sunday November 8.
Warren Worthington Callery, son of Edward and Laura (Ely) Callery was born November 14, 1909 in Duncombe, Iowa. He received his education in the Webster City schools. He served with the US Army and was later employed with Hart Carter. He became a resident of Iowa Veterans Home in 1964. He is survived by a sister Lauretta Callery Evans, Claremont, California and several niece's and nephews. He was proceeded death by two sisters and a brother. Mr. Callery was a member of the Catholic Church in Duncombe.
