Pearl Aline Standridge was born on February 17, 1924 in Corsicana, Texas to Jim and Grace Huff. She married Raymond Standridge in December of 1940 in Royalty, Texas. Pearl and Raymond made their home in Bartlesville beginning in 1944. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother and grandmother. She loved to fish, travel, work in her yard, visit family and she was always ready to go somewhere. She loved her church, First Baptist, her Sunday School class and her choir, where she was a faithful member for many years. Her last employment before retirement was with Eldercare, where she volunteered until she became ill. She had a host of friends and everyone loved her. She loved the Lord and she loved life and her family. She fought a brave fight for life and independence from the stroke she suffered in June of this year. Her life epitomized what is described in the Bible as “a virtuous woman.” She will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Standridge is survived by three daughters and a son; Kay Standridge of Bartlesville, Patty Sturgeon and her husband Bobby of Hernando, Mississippi, Edna Jackson and her husband Bob of Owasso and Raymond Standridge, Jr. and his wife Deedie of Bartlesville, one brother Jack Huff of Tucson, Arizona, many nieces and nephews, seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Pearl was preceded in death by her husband Raymond in September of 1978.
