Margaret Gibson, 94, Ozark, Mo., passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2008, in the Baptist Home. She was born Feb. 7, 1914, in Wheaton, Mo., to Jess Monroe and Florence Rebecca Higgs Warren. Hester graduated from Wheaton High School in 1931. She was the beloved wife of Herschel E. Gibson. She worked for the Barry County Extension Service and Rush Commission Company in Springfield. Hester was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church, Springfield, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and a brother, Lawton Warren. Hester is survived by her sister, Hazel Sapp, Ozark, Mo.; a nephew, Warren Sapp, his wife, Betty, Bartlesville, Okla.; and a niece, Virginia Planchon, her husband, H. Peter, Idaho Falls, Idaho. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 28, 2008, in the Baptist Home in Ozark, under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. Burial will follow in Hazelwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m., until service time Saturday, in the Baptist Home.
