Clinton—Mrs. Eliza Josephine Angerer, 76, died at 1 a.m. Thursday, in John Warner hospital. She had been ill two weeks. The body was taken to Pullen and Boos Funeral Chapel where funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Harold Cranch of Chicago will officiate. Burial in Woodlawn cemetery, Clinton.
She was born April 25, 1873, in Clinton, a daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Edward Porter. She married Arthur Gatchell. Following his death, she married E. E. Gardner. After his death, she married W. R. Angerer. He also preceded her in death.
A son, Kenneth Porter Gatchell of Columbus, Miss., survives, also three sisters: Mrs. Hattie Porter Wilson; Mrs. Mellie McIntyre and Mrs. Freddie Rotenberry, all of Clinton
