Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Cole and Maud Chapel for Charles B. Marshall, 613 W. 13th St., who died Dec. 24 at the Veterans Hospital in Tucson.
Mr. Marshall, who was born Dec. 11, 1902 in Richmond, Virginia, moved to Casa Grande 15 years ago.
He was a veteran of World War II. Prior to his retirement several years ago, he was self-employed as a carpenter.
In addition to his widow, Leona, he is survived by his sons: William, of San Francisco, CA, and John, of Amarillo, TX; his daughter, Mildred, living in Japan; and his brother, Clarence, of Vega, TX.
Rev. Thomas Lowther, of First Baptist Church, conducted the services. Mrs. Roland Curry was the organist and Mrs. Calvin Nichols sang "In The Garden" and "Rock of Ages." Members of the American Legion served as pallbearers.
Graveside services were conducted by the American Legion. Interment was in Mountain View Cemetery.
