MR. DONALD E. MAY Godeffroy, N.Y. Mr. Donald E. May of Godeffroy, N.Y., a Computor Operator Programer at ETC, Newburgh and longtime resident of the area, died Wednesday, May 22, 2002, at Horton Medical Center, Middletown. He was 65. He was born February 24, 1937, in Providence, R.I. A veteran of the Air Force, he was a member of the Milford Bible Church, Milford, Pa. and a former longtime member of the Cuddebackville Fire Department. He was also a member of the local Ham Operators Organization and was involved in Community Disaster Communications: his call sign was 'Casey 2HV'. Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Patricia A. Hillas May at home; a son, Robert S. May of Port Jervis, N.Y.; a daughter, Bonnie Jean Rice of Godeffroy, N.Y.; a sister, Jean; three grandchildren, Ryan Rice, Rachael May and Caitlin May and also nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Robert and a sister, Shirley. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, May 24, at the Gray-Parker Funeral Home, 100 E. Main Street, Port Jervis. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 25, at the Gray-Parker Funeral Home with Rev. Rodney Ryle officiating. Burial will be at Orange County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Goshen, N.Y. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, N.Y.S.-Memorial Processing Center, P.O. Box 31160, Hartford, Conn. 06150-1160. Funeral arrangements are by the Gray-Parker Funeral Home, Port Jervis.
