Eva Florence McCreary was born in York County, Nebraska, August 14, 1876. She was married to Madison R. England at Albia, Iowa, March 9, 1893. In 1907 she returned to Nebraska with her husband who engaged in farming in Red Willow county. One son, Murvin, and her husband preceded her in death.
In 1921 Mrs. England was married to J.W. Montgomery. (Some records say John W. but most likely was James W. as that is what other records indicate.)
Mrs. Montgomery united with the Christian Church in McCook.
She died Dec. 11, 1946 (at home after a lingering illness)at the age of 70 years, 3 months and 27 days.
She is survived by six sons: Charles of Branch, Mo, John of Omaha, William of Denver, Carl of Hamlet, Elmer of Omaha and Leonard of McCook; two daughters, Mrs. Veda Pingitzer of Oberlin, Kansas and Mrs. Blanche Walton of McCook; 11 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Mayme Stunkard, Sterling, Colo.; two (half)brothers, Charles of Ansley and Lester of Sterling, Colo.
