She was born May 20, 1946 in Dodgeville, WI, a daughter of the late Arnold and Mary Alice Stebnitz Knight.
On June 8, 1968 she married Gerald Burton in Ridgeway, WI.
Survivors include her husband, Gerald of New Holstein; her two children, Karin (Thomas) Swietlik of Milwaukee and Jason (Kristina) Burton of San Jose, CA; her grandson, Jack Burton; two brothers, Herman (Marilyn) Knight of Rewey, WI and Arnold Jr. (Teresa) Knight of rural Barneveld; her sister, Lois (Daryl) DeNure of Monroe, WI and three sisters-in-law, Barbara (George) Farrell, Joyce (Joseph) Ulrich and Janet (Doug) Forbes.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Arnold and Mary Alice Knight; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, William and Marie Burton.
