Mrs. Keller Dies; Services Today --
Mrs. Flossie Evelyn Keller of the Lexie Crossroads community died Monday at the Franklin County Hospital after an extended illness. She was 78.
She was the daughter of Willard Metcalf and Mary Looney Metcalf and was a member of the Vernon Ridge Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held today at the Moroe-Cortner Funeral Home with the Rev. D. D. Cantrell officiating. Burial will be in Franklin Memorial Gardens.
She is survived by her husband, Charlie Keller; three daughters, Mrs. Clara Mae Hall, Mrs. Louise Mears, and Mrs. Betty Jo Whoric, all of Lexie Crossroads; four sons, Russell Keller and Eugene Keller, both of Crete, Illinois, Reuben Keller, Watertown, New York, and Billy Keller, Fayetteville, North Carolina; three sisters, Mrs. Goldie Rower, Greeneville, Mrs. Ollie Chisum, Hazel Green, Alabama, and Mrs. Lottie Eddie, Shelbyville; five brothers, Willard Metcalf, Frank Metcalf, Walter Metcalf, and Sherrill Metcalf, all of Fayetteville, and Jim Metcalf, Lynchburg; 18 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
