About midnight of last Thursday Mr. John A. Arrington was released from his long sufferings by the call of death, at the age of 69 years. He had resided in Roanoke for many years and was highly esteemed as an upright man. He had been a member of the Baptist church about half a century.
Funeral services were conducted at the Second Baptist church, this city, at three Friday afternoon by Revs. J. D. OKeefe and C. B: Martin, and interment was in the cemetery in this place.
