Mrs. Merley Shulaw

Bluffton-Mrs. Merley Shulaw, 75, of Rt.. 1 Laffayette, died at 6:30 p.m. yesterday at her home after an illness of 3 1/2 years. She was born Aug. 23, 1880 in Jackson Township.
She was a member of the Liberty Chapel Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence, a daughter Mrs. Winona Hunsicker of Sanford, Florida, two sons Donovin LaViness of Shawnee, Okla. and Melvin LeViness of Ada, Four step-sons, Woodrow Shulaw and Willard Shulaw, both of Ada, Robert Shulaw of Toledo and Francis of Michigan, Two stepdaughters Mrs. Lester Young and Mrs Wilber Amstutz, both of Bluffton, one sister Mrs. Essie Young of Rockford, Ill, eight grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren, 13 step grandchildren and three step great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:30p.m. at West Point Methodist Church with Rev. J. O. Dearing officiating and burial will be in West Point Cemetery. Friends may call at the Paul Diller Funeral Home.
