KARL C. BISHOP DIES
Funeral services for Karl C. Bishop, 39, accountant for General Motors Truck and Coach Company will be Thursday at 12:30 a.m. (yesterday) at 36 East Seventh South Street by Arthur J. Sperry, Bishop of the Fourth LDS Ward. Burial will be in City cemetery. Mr. Bishop died Monday night at his home, 621 South West Temple Street, after a five-month illness. He was born in Hinckley, April 24, 1898, a son of Heber L. and Ella Cahoon Bishop. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Deann Thorpe Bishop of Salt Lake City; seven brothers and five sisters. - [from Salt Lake Tribune) Mr. Bishop is well remembered in Fillmore as he was raised here by Mr. and Mrs. Brigham Melville.
