ADAMS – Russell Lynn, 49, Cresson Township, died Saturday as a result of a motorcycle accident. Son of Thomas & Arlene (Miller) Adams, he was born in Johnstown. He married Cathy Marie Seder on Aug. 21, 1983. Predeceased by father, Thomas R.; brother, Ronald T. and brother in-law, Fred Corte. Survived by wife, Cathy, daughter of Connie and Walter Seder, and sister of Mark Seder, and wife, Kay; David Seder, and wife, Michelle; and Valerie Hampton; daughter, Amanda Rose, and fiance, Andrzej Kulik; sons: Zachary Russell and Austin Tyler; mother, Arlene; and sisters: Dianne Corte and Susan Bourdess & husband, Dale. Russ drove truck for the Sheetz Distribution Center, Claysburg and operated his own excavating company, Adams Excavation. Russ was a graduate of Johnstown Vo-Tech and also received a post-secondary degree in computers. He was a member of the National Guard as well as a Nissan and Chrysler/Plymouth technician. He was a member of the Portage Revolver and Pistol Club. Kinley Funeral Home, Portage. Interment, Mount Olive Cemetery.
