Deceased Name: Christel Noss Sandberg
BOUNTIFUL--Christel Noss Sandberg, age 64, passed away peaceably at her home on July 20, 1999.

She was born in Wuppertal, Germany on July 14, 1935, to Rudolf August Noss and Martha Elizabeth Schwarz Noss.

Christel immigrated with her family to Salt Lake City in 1955.

She married Richard Buckmiller on December 9, 1955, later divorced.

She married Robert Sandberg on November 17, 1973.

Christel was an active member of the LDS Church and served in the YWMIA for over 20 years in virtually every calling including camp director, stake and ward president. Singing in the choir for over 20 years brought her immense enjoyment. She worked at the Deseret Gym and Albertsons Pharmacy. Member of the Ladies Literary Club. She cherished her American citizenship. She left a legacy of love and a smile for everyone.

Thanks to Christel's family, friends, ward members and IHC Hospice who have been so loving, kind and giving these past few months.

Survivors include husband, Bob; sons Ken (Jill) Buckmiller, Kaysville, and Ron (Lisa) Buckmiller, Centerville; grandchildren, Jacob, Kristen, Erik, Nicole and Mitchel; brother, Michael (Carolee) Noss, West Valley City; sisters, Norma Mod Noss, West Valley City and Monica Nichols, Mesa, Arizona. Preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at the Woodland Hills Ward Chapel, 640 South 750 East, Bountiful, at 12 noon on Friday, July 23, 1999. Friends may call on Thursday, July 22 from 6-8 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, and Friday from 10:45-11:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment will be at the Bountiful City Cemetery.
