G. L. Burroughs Of Motorun Dies
Motorun - George Luther Burroughs, 87, died Monday morning at his home here.
He was a retired waterman.
He is survived by two sons, Robert J. Burroughs and George L. Burroughs Jr., both of Mathews; three half-brothers, Walter Burroughs, Will Burroughs and Joe Burroughs, all of Mathews; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews, with the Rev. M. S. Smart, pastor of St. Paul Methodist Church, and the Rev. Wilbur C. Diggs, retired minister of the Friends Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery, Susan.
