Funeral services for Betty Louise Leach, 70 of Coffeyville, KS will be held 11:30 A.M. Saturday, June 27, 2009 at Key Funeral Home Chapel in Pryor with Minister Judge Morris officiating. Burial will be held at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville, OK. Services are under the direction of Key Funeral Home of Pryor.
Betty was born December 31, 1938 in Tulsa, OK to Forrest Edwin and Thelma Mae (McConell) Bell. She died June 24, 2009 in Tahlequah, OK. Betty grew up in Oklahoma and California before moving to Coffeyville, KS in the mid 1950's. She then married Donald Leach on June 11, 1956 in Coffeyville. After Donald was discharged from the Navy, the couple made their home in the Tulsa area. Betty worked as a nurse's aide. She was a natural artist and enjoyed decorating. She took great pride in her home and family.
She is survived by 3 sons, Mark Edwin Leach of Tulsa, Scott Delane Leach of Tahlequah and Michael Don Leach of Tulsa; 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Judy Kay Rampey of Glenpool; and mother, Thelma Downing and husband DeWitt of Pryor.
She was preceded in death by her father; husband in 2007 and sister, Loweta Hawkins in 2006. Family will be greeting friends Friday evening from 6-8 PM at Key Funeral Home in Pryor.
