Services for Wendylon "Wendy" Berres, 56, of Palestine will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Evangelistic Temple with Dr. Barry Roberts and Paul Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey and Foster Funeral Home, Palestine. Wendylon "Wendy" Berres went to meet our Lord and Savior on June 25, 2009. She was born Sept. 30, 1952 in Waco to Robert and Rosemarie Stockslager Nevills. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She worked as a hotel ambassador at the Holiday Inn Express. Wendy was preceded in death by her precious son, David Aaron Bryant; her beloved grandparents, Harry and Odie Stockslager; father, Robert Nevills; and grandmother, Rosa McNutt. Wendy leaves behind to miss her so terribly her daughter, Sara Del Principe; granddaughter, Rhiannon Rosemarie Del Principe; and grandson, Cody Aaron Bryant. She also will be missed by her parents, H.L. and Rose Marie Foreman; sisters, Sherron Carder, Debbe Davis, and Terri Neill. Her nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and a host of friends and co-workers will miss her love and laughter. Wendy was a huge ray of sunshine in the lives of those she knew. Her beautiful smile and loving compassion will be missed by each and every family member and friend. Our precious Wendy has lost her battle with cancer, but we are here to celebrate her joyful entrance into heaven. Pallbearers will be Bernard Berres, Taury Patterson, Randy Gilbert, Kevin Warren, Gebron Thomason, David Carter, Marty Carney and Phillip Neill. Honorary pallbearer will be Carl Croon.
