She was born in Cooter, Missouri on November 11, 1917 and died at the Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti, Missouri on April 19, 1972 at the age of 54 years, 5 months, and 8 days. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Sarah Pritchard. She attended schools at the Mound and the Caruthersville Schools. On July 4, 1935 in Caruthersville, Missouri she was united in marriage to L.D. Ferrell. Until she became ill, she was an employee of the Brown Shoe Company. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Ferrell is survived by her husband, L.D. Ferrell; one son, Perry D. Ferrell of Memphis, Tennessee; one daughter, Mrs. Nancy French of Hayti, Missouri; three brothers, Delmar Pritchard of Caruthersville, Missouri, Leonard Pritchard of Hayti, Missouri, and Rayburn Pritchard of Bragg City, Missouri; two sisters, Mrs. Louetta Speight of Caruthersville, Missouri, and Mrs. Bonnie Nell Randolph of Jackson, Tennessee; and five grandchildren.
Pall-bearers were Kenneth Pritchard, Bill Ferrell, Sherman Manley, James Speight, Jerry Pritchard, and Tommy Pritchard.
