Mrs. Ella May Grinstead, 67, widow of the late James H. Grinstead, died Monday morning at 7 o'clock at her home in Braggadocio after a long illness of tuberculosis.
Mrs. Grinstead was born in Braggadocio on Feb. 3, 1872, her father's name being Westley Cawthon. Her husband, J.H. Grinstead, preceded her in death on June 6, 1938.
Surviving her are nine children: Mrs. Violet Gramling of Marigold, Miss., Mrs. Leda Green, Mrs. Clyde Brock, Mrs. Willie Chilton, Mrs. Lonnie Long, Mrs. Bonnie Faris, Miss Nola Grinstead, William F. Grinstead and James Grinstead.
Funeral services were conducted this afternoon from the Braggadocio Baptist church by the Rev. Earl Gooch. Interment was in Maple cemetery.
