Mapleton, Iowa—Clem H. Babbe, 91, of Mapleton, died Thursday at his residence.
Services will be at in St. Matthew Lutheran Church. The Rev. Philip Ritter will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery under direction of the Walter Funeral Home of Mapleton.
Mr. Babbe was born near Mapleton and farmed in the community.
He married Anna Rohde March 18, 1914 at Mapleton.He was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church.
Survivors include the widow; two daughters, Mrs. Berniece Maynard and Mrs. Mildred King, both of Mapleton; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one brother, William of Whiting.
