Winfield R. Aggen, 74, formerly of 45 Columbia St., Chilton, died early today at the Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton. Hospitalized for three days, he was a resident of Willowdale Nursing Home, New Holstein, the past two years.
Mr. Aggen was born May 9, 1899, in the Town of Chilton, son of the late Andrew and Catherina Sievers Aggen. He attended the elementary school at Brandt and Chilton High School.
He was engaged in farming most of his life and was a member of a railroad section crew until his retirement in 1961.
Mr. Aggen never married.
He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Viola Feldhausen of Sheboygan, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother.
