Carl H. (Buster) Aggen, 73, of 207 Randolph St., New Holstein, died at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton, following a lingering illness.
He was born in the Town of New Holstein on May 17, 1886, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Stinus Aggen. He attended rural schools in the area. He was married to Ellen Luehrs on May 1, 1913 at Hayton. He was a machinist at the Lauson Co., New Holstein, for more than 25 years. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, New Holstein. He was a member of the Quarter Century Club of New Holstein and the Equitable Reserve Assn.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Harold, New Holstein; two grandchildren; two brothers, Arno, Aberdeen, SD, and Edward of New Holstein; three sisters, Mrs. Alma Guntley, Campbellsport, Mrs. Ella Fischer, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Lucy Wiess, Peshtigo. Three brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the church by the Rev. Charles Koch. Burial will be in the New Holstein cemetery.
