Mary M. McInnis, 83 of Gulfport died Wednesday, February 23, 2005 in Biloxi. She was born April 10, 1921 in Bay Springs, MS. A lifelong Presbyterian, she was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church in Gulfport where she was active in church activities and was also active in civic activities. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herrin E. McInnis; a son, John N. McInnis; sisters, Ida Mattie Burns and Maxine West; and her brother, Joe Alex McFarland, all of Bay Springs. She is survived by a daughter, Mary M. Barnett and her husband, William E. Barnett of Williamsburg, VA; a son, William A. McInnis and his wife, Jaima O. McInnis of Marietta, GA; a brother, Robert H. McFarland of Bay Springs; and two granddaughters, Elisabeth A. Barnett of Charlotte, NC and Mabry B. Ray and her husband Russell of Richmond, VA.
The funeral service will be Monday February 28, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Gulfport where friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. until the service. Interment will be private at Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula.
