Nancy worked at many jobs during her life time ranging from packaging of medicines at Eli Lilly and making airplane tires to support the troops in WWII. Nancy also worked at the Valley Medical Center as a cook and at the Fresno County Library working with the Dewey decimal system. Her primary love of life was working as a homemaker and raising two separate sets of children.

Nancy raised and is survived by four children, Rosa Lee Esqucr of Fresno, California Johnne Lee Ables of Scottsdale, Arizona, Michael Gene Arias and Patricia Ann Arias of Fresno, California.

Nancy has six grandchildren, Johnne, Deborah, Jennifer, Jessica, Michael Jr. of Fresno, California and USAF NCO Elizabeth Rose of Grand Forks AFB, North Dakota and five great-grand children. Her family remembers her as a strict but loving mother who survived many trials during her life including surviving cancer at 42 years old and supporting each family member to the best of her ability. She appreciated the love and support she got from her son Michael Gene as he helped her through her last battle with the fight against Alzheimer's disease. Nancy turned to her faith as a Jehovah Witnesses to see the family through the many life struggles.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Cora Ferguson of Seymour, Indiana. Nancy was the youngest of eight sisters and two brothers that have all preceded her in death and a multitude of cousins, nieces, nephews

Services are private.

Remembrances may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association in the name of the Arias family.
