Evelyn Carter Dooley, 86, passed away June 16, 2006 at a local hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis F. "Sonny" Dooley. She is survived by special cousins, Hazel McCaskill and family, Leonia Wood; and other cousins; her brother-in-law, Dr. Robert Dooley; special friends, Sharon and Howard Floyd and family, Mary Frances Harris and son, Sharon and Mike Tucker and daughter, and many other friends. She worked at the American Tobacco Company and was a retired Henrico County school bus driver. Her remains rest at the Bliley Funeral Homes' Staples Mill Chapel, 8510 Staples Mill Road, where the family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, and where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
