Ernest Cook, 65, former resident of this city, died Saturday, March 2, in New Orleans and his funeral was held the following Tuesday afternoon at the Dean Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Ray Benefield officiating. Burial was in Maple Cemetery.
He was born June 2, 1902.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Carrey Lee Cook of New Orleans; a step-daughter, Mrs. Nan Alexander of Helena, Ark.; two step-sons, Lawson P. Stine of Seattle, Wash. and Henry Stine of Sacramento, Calif.; a brother, Sylvester Cook of Detroit, Mich. and a sister, Mrs. Lillian May of Caruthersville.
