Virginia Ferne (Cross) Kapteina-Grissom, beloved wife of James Ernest Kapteina, passed away at their home in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on May 2, 1993.

A resident of Santa Fe for 18 years, and Albuquerque 12 years, she enjoyed dancing, traveling, and her family.

She was the beloved mother of Barbara Grissom of Albuquerque and Linda Hansen of Santa Fe; and beloved grandmother of Alicia, Jennifer, and Matthew of Santa Fe; two sisters, two brothers, and numerous nieces and nephews.
