Mr. Langley died at 11:18 a.m. Saturday, April 21, 1990 at his home in Marshall.
He was born December 12, 1968 in Marshall. He married Susan Lane Bunch on Sept. 16, 1989 in Marshall. He attended Marshall public schools. He was a member of B Co. 2d BN, 7th Inf., 24 Inf. Div. He was a Sgt. E-5 with the U.S. Army at Ft. Stewart, Ga. He attended Infantry Basic Training at Ft. Benning, Ga., Primary Leadership Development Course (PLDC), Bradley Fighting School and Headstart Program. His awards include the Army Service Ribbon, Army Commendation Medal, Overseas Ribbon and NCO Professional Development Ribbon. He had one tour in Germany. His last duty was a squad leader in Mechanized Infantry Co.
He was preceded in death by his wife; his natural parents, Ronald and Wilma Crenshaw Woods; and his grandparents, J.S. (Pee-Wee) Crenshaw, Raymond Langley Sr and Lucille Langley Cooper.
Survivors include his parents, his grandparents, three brothers and sisters-in-law, all of Marshall; three sisters and brothers-in-law, one stepson, 11 nieces, nephews and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Military will serve as pallbearers.
