In her 76 year, the mother of Foxhall Parker Keene and Mrs.Jessica Keene Frost.
Daughter of Leroy Parker Daingerfield, Jr and Juliet O.Daingerfield, born at Rich Hill, near Winchester.

Direct descendant of Colonel William Daingerfield of Greenfield,Essex County,Virginia.

She was named for her aunt Sara Joy Bogardus, wife of Commodore Foxhall Parker.

At the age of 20 she went to California and, in 1863, was married James Robert Keene, at the home of her brother, Judge William Parker Daingerfield, in San Francisco.

In 1867 they moved their family to New York City and lived for many years on tewnty-sixth street. Later they moved to Newport,R.I.and finally to Cedarhust.
