Sharon D. Quiring

Sharon D. Quiring, 67, a lifelong Dallas resident, died June 19 in Dallas.

She was born in Dallas to Sam and Elizabeth Neufeld Reimer.

Sharon graduated from Salem Academy in 1960 and went on to attend Seattle Pacific, Oregon State and Merritt Davis colleges.

She married John Quiring in Dallas on Nov. 29, 1969.

She worked for State Farm Insurance Co. until children came along, then she stayed home to be a full-time mom.

Sharon was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family deeply and always put them first. Sharon loved to entertain and was savvy to the importance of the elements of etiquette. She loved to shop, cook and spoil her kids and grandchildren. She had unconditional love for all people.

She loved to relax with a great sporting event on TV and knew many of the player's by name.

Sharon loved the Lord and was a member of the former Mennonite Brethren Church. She loved music and sang in the choir in her younger years.

Survivors include her husband, John of Dallas; daughter, Rashelle Earhart of Dallas; son, Brian of Salem; and seven grandchildren.

Viewing is from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, at Dallas Mortuary Tribute Center. Celebration of life will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 25, in the Dallas Four Square Church, the former Mennonite Brethren Church.

Private graveside service will be held in Dallas Cemetery prior to the celebration at the church.
