Willy, 89, passed away at the Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital. He was born to Wilhelm & Lena (Lohmuller) Renz, he married June Procknow on May 17, 1945, in Fort Atkinson, WI. He was born and raised on the family homestead on Country Highway G in the Town of Jefferson. He owned and operated the family dairy farm, retiring in 1969. After working for the Jefferson Country Highway Department for two years, he worked for the Fort Atkison School District for 10 years, retiring in 1982. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and his chocolate lab, Coco, who was with him for 16 years. Surviving are his wife, June Renz of Jefferson; one daughter, Cindy (Ted) Thompson of Janesville, WI; three sons, William (Carol) Renz of Belleview, FL; Terry (Cheryl) Renz of Fort Atkinson and David Sharlow, Amanda Thiede and Jason, Jeremy, Allison and Brondon Renz; six great-grandchildren, Connor Sharlow, Trysten and Preston Thiede, and Gage, Cade and Bree Renz; two brothers, Oscar (Shirley) Renz of Jefferson and Irvin (Lorraine) Renz of Lake Mills; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Esther Haerterich; one brother, Paul Renz; and two great-nieces, Margaret Lind and Donna Schultz. Funeral services were held at Olsen Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Kenneth A. Comstock Officiating. Burial took place in Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Atkinson.
