Mrs. Lahana Lucinda Benfield, nee Rohrbach, wife of Abraham Benfield, Huff's Church, Berks county, died on Saturday morning, September 12th, at 3.45 a.m. of Bright's disease aged seventy-nine years, five months and eighteen days. She was sick eight weeks but was only bedfast for two weeks. There survive one brother and two sisters: John Rohrbach, of Allentown; Mrs. Sarah Carl, of Reading, and Mrs. John Fronheiser, of Bechtelsville, Berks county. The husband and six children survive: Sarah, wife of Reuben Moll, of Seisholtzville; Frank N. and Andora, wife of A. M. Fisher, of Huff's Church; Amanda, wife of John D. Reifsnyder, of Boyerstown; Ida, wife of Milton J. Gerhard, of Bechtelsville, and Abraham R., of Allentown. Thirty-three grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren also survive. Four children preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at her late home on Thursday at 9.30 a.m. Interment will be made at Huff's Union Cemetery, Rev. James N. Blatt officiating.
