Seger had lived in Tulsa since 1915. He was a graduate of Central High School. He received a bachelor of science degree from the University of Illinois and was a Navy veteran of World War II. He worked with Reading & Bates for about 10 years and retired as vice president in charge of finance. He earlier was employed with the National Bank of Tulsa and Bethlehem Supply. He was a member of the Trinity church, Southern Hills Country Club and Tulsa Club. Surviving are his wife, Sally Morris Seger; four sons, Paul Loyd of Houston, William Loyd of Raleigh, N.C., James Robert Barnard Jr. of Crested Butte, Mont., and Charles Seger of Tulsa; two daughters, Eugenia Barnard of Washington, D.C., and Christiane Whitehill of Tulsa; a sister, Jane Gifford of Tulsa, and 10 grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Trinity Episcopal Church. Interment will be in the Trinity Columbarium with Stanleys Funeral Service in charge.
