Mr. Clayton L. “Dude” Beard, 65, of Route 4, Delphi (Ockley), departed this life May 17, 1988, at his residence. where he was found at 8:00 p.m. Death was from natural causes Born December 30. 1922. In Madison Township. Carroll County, he was the son of Clarence and Mabel Beard. He had spent his life working on the family farm, and had never married.
Surviving are several cousins.
Graveside services for Mr. Clayton L. Beard were held Saturday, May 21, 1988, at the Masonic Cemetery.
Delphi, the Rev. Peggy Ailing officiating. Horn Funeral Home, Delphi, was in charge of arrangements.
