Alma "Ruth" (Crowl) Smith-Dennison, 83, who was the daughter of Nellie and Albert Crowl and raised in rural Chanute, Kansas, died December 23, 1991, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she resided the past 42 years.
She married and divorced Harley Smith. She then married Harrie Dennison in 1945.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harrie Dennison; her parents; and four of her sisters.
Survivors include her two sons, Arnold Dennison of Albuquerque and Harrie Dennison Jr., of Alhambra, CA; sisters, Mary Etta Barnhart of Chanute, KS; and Alice Lechner of Andover, KS; two grandsons and many nieces and nephews.
