His death certificate states that he worked for the railroad and was accidently run over by a train. It gives his burial location as Oakland Cemetery in Trenton, Gibson Co., TN.

Lawrence Co., TN marriage records list a marriage between Arley Hannah and Lillie Pruitt on 29 Oct 1914. His WWI draft registration says he is single in June of 1917. When the 1920 census was taken he was working on the Wilson dam project and still single.

About 1923 he married Elsie May Howell and they had 3 sons - James Arley Hannah; Robert Lee Hannah (09 Oct 1925 TN - 18 Jun 1996 FL) and Russell L. Hannah (c1927-?? MO).
