Loretta Kay Hoover, 59, of Cochranville, passed away at the Heartland Hospice in Wilmington, Del., on Sunday, June 21, 2009.
She was the wife of Chester B. Hoover, with whom she shared 22 years of marriage.
Born in Wilmington, Del., she was the daughter of Clarence and Dorothy M. Barker Darnell of Cochranville.
Loretta was a 1968 graduate of Octorara High School.
She was employed by Chemical Leaman Corp. of Downingtown as an accountant and most recently she was employed by Accutome of Malvern, retiring in 2007.
She was a member of the Kelton Church of Christ.
She is survived, in addition to her husband and parents, by two sons, Richy Lee Hoover and wife, Phyllis, of Blue Ball, and Jeffrey Allen Hoover of Honey Brook; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Lorraine Kim Francis of Avondale, Lorna Kip Vitato of Texas and Lorie Kit Smith of Parkside.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, followed by interment in Oxford Cemetery.
Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.
