Donald Wayne Dearing, 46, died after an extended illness on Tuesday, Sept. 14, 1999 in Everett.
Don was born in Wenatchee on May 15, 1953 to Derald and Bea Dearing and grew up living in Wenatchee and Oroville. He attended school on Wenatchee Heights and in Wenatchee, graduating in 1971 from Wenatchee High School.
Don worked for the Burlington Northern Railroad for many years as a laborer and carman in Wenatchee, Spokane, Whitefish, MT and in the Seattle area and was an exceptional welder. He owned and operated a cherry orchard on Wenatchee Heights for six years. He was married on May 20, 1973 to Dana Bailey at Wenatchee.
Don loved hunting, fishing and golf and was a friend to all he met, quickly making many friends at each stop along his way.
He is survived by one daughter Erin Marcuson of Spokane; one son Shad Morrow of Phoenix, AZ; six grandchildren; one sister Susan and one brother Bill, both of Wenatchee.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Bruce, and his father.
Memorial contributions may be made in Don's name to Our House Cancer Care Center or to the Cerebral Palsy of Wenatchee Valley.
