Mrs. Elizabeth Harris, pioneer citizen of this
commuity & mother of J. P. Reding, with whom she has
made her home for many years, died Suday & was
buried Tuesday in the Meeker cemetery. The funeral
was conducted by Rev. J. G. Cansler from the First
Christian Church in this city.
The deceased was born March 2, 1837 and died
January 26, 1930. Age 92 years,8 moths and 24 days.
and for the past 65 years has been a faithful member
of the Christian church. She was the mother of nine
children, only four of whom survive her. They being:
J. P. Reding of this city, Mrs. R. A. Harris of
Pismo Beach, California, Mrs. Martha Leverton of
Fresno, California, and J. Riley Harris of Waco,
Texas, aside from whom there are many grandchildren
and a world of friends who deeply mourn her loss.
