ANDERSON, Mo. — Maylene Viola Blevins, 67, of Anderson died June 20, 2009, at her home. She was born Aug. 25, 1941, in Ogden, Utah, to William and Esther Lagers Armstrong.
She was a nurse for more than 30 years, working for the last 25 years at Regency Hospice.
She was preceded in death by a son, Alvin Lee Blevins Jr.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Alvin Lee Blevins; two daughters, Lorraine Oler and husband Steve of Gravette, and Shannon Robertson and husband Les of Anderson; a son, Lee Roy Blevins and wife "Stormie" of Anderson; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Mabel Sycamore of Brigham, Utah, and Mary Gann of Noel, Mo.; a brother, Artie Armstrong of Webb City, Mo.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Ozark Funeral Homes in Anderson, online at www.ozarkfuneralhome.com. Benjamin Lukens will officiate.
Burial will follow in Cummings Cemetery near Tiff City, Mo.
Memorials may be made to Regency Hospice and may be left at the funeral home.
