"Death of Rev. W. H. Breach, 81, well-known in Olney, occurred last Thursday evening in Hoopeston at the home of his daughter, Mrs. G. M. Southwich. Funeral services wwere held Monday afternoon in Danville Baptist church. Rev. J. B. Farrell, Rev. J. W. Sturdivant, Claude Tilton and son Timothy of Olney, attended the funeral. Mrs. Tilton, a daughter of Rev. Breach had been in Hoopeston some time prior to the death of her father." - The Olney Advocate, Olney, Illinois, January 16, 1936

“Former Pastor of Waynetown Dead – Mrs. C.E. Grenard of Waynetown received word Monday of the death of Rev. W.H. Breach formerly a pastor of the Baptist church at Waynetown. His death occurred Wednesday, January 15, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Southwick, in Hoopeston, Illinois. Funeral services were held at Danville, Illinois, Friday. Mr. Breach was 84 years old and although retired from active ministry, he had frequently returned to Waynetown to officiate at funeral services.” – January 30, 1936
