My great-grandmother, Mary Jane Weadick came to this country from Ireland when just a young girl. She was married to a man named Blakesley, from which a son was born. Death of both husband and child came soon after their marriage. Mary Jane then married my great-grandfather Meshach Eaves, from which 2 children were born; my grandfather, William and a daughter, Elisebeth who died Oct. of 1873 at age 18 yrs, 7mos. After Meshach died of typhoid fever after 5 yrs into the marriage, she married Jacob Terwillegar and together had many children. They who knew her (Terwillegar history) said she was a "handsome" woman and very hard working. Her name appears on the tombstone of Jacob Terwillegar, but in checking the listings of burials in Big Prairie Cemetery, she is not mentioned. I am just adding her history so she is known to others who may be interested in locating her burial place.
