Callie Jo died at 6:15pm on Sunday October 24,on U.S. Hwy 61 near St. Francisville. She was 15 years old and a native of Peoria,Ill,a resident of Baton Rouge. She was a student at Tara High School. Welsh Funeral Home had funeral arrangments. Religious services were held at First Assembly of God Church. Survived by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth J DeZwaan,her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob DeZwaan,and great-grandmother,Mrs. John DeZwaan all of Great Rapides,Mich. She was a member of Canal Street Presbyterian Church in New Orleans.She was a member of Tara High School Booster Club. Pallbearers were Ray Miller, George Kroger,Wayne Austin,Bob Bowling,Murty Fox and Bill Courtney.

She along with her brother Gary and sister Carol and a friend Helen Lawlis were all killed in a car accident.
