Marion Taylor Osborn was born 21 June 1846 Alabama the son Henry Page Osborn and Amanda Fox Mayfield 22 November 1822-18 September 1876 Virgil Cemetery.

Marion married Lovinia Elizabeth McCoin 27 November 1866 Greenwood County, Kansas, daughter of Rev. William McCoin and Elizabeth Picket McCoin.

Children--
Cora Millie Osborn 12 November 1869 Emporia-30 October 1921 Virgil Cemetery. married William (Archy) Watts 19 May 1891.

Our community was shocked on Wednesday the 22nd to hear of the death of Taylor Ozborn which occured that a.m. at his home near Quincy. He had been ill only a few days with typhoid - malaria but was stricken with death almost from the first. He had been a resident of the Valley since '56, and was aged about 45.

He leaves a wife, several children and many friends who followed him to his resting place in the Virgil Cemetery. Rev. Christlieb conducted the funeral ceremonis
