Mr. Alvord, a native of Putnam County, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2003 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Mary Alvord; daughter, April Alvord, Christiana Alvord, and Courtney Alvord; father, James Alvord; four sisters, Janice Vaz, Deborah Middlebrook, Chris Genantonio, and Kelly Davis; and brother, Michael Alvord.
His mother, Betty Jo Alvord, preceded him in death.
