Anna was the mother of Jacob Thome, Catherine Hackenmiller, Gertrude Simons, Anna Maria Meyer and Margaret Kramer.
Her husband had a daughter from a previous marriage: Anna Gertrude (Nicholas) Miesen. The Miesens came to Stacyville with the Thomes, farmed for awhile and then relocated to the Twin Cities.
