Gladys Lee, 95, of 1612 N. 37th St., died Monday, Dec. 21, 1998, in Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born Sept. 11, 1903, in Stanley, Wis., and resided in Superior most of her life. She was a member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church.

Surviving are three daughters, Dorothy Mae (Herbert) Lee, Superior, Delores Jane (Ralph) Isberg, Grand Rapids, Minn., and Kay Anita (Lyle) Severin, South Range; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Rudolph "Rudy" Johnson, to whom she was married Feb. 17, 1923, her second husband, Chester Lee, to whom she was married June 13, 1936, a son, Glenn R. Johnson, a grandson, Danny Severin, and four brothers and seven sisters.

A private funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Downs Funeral Home with Rev. David Eckman of Pilgrim Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Note: Herbert Lee is Gladys' step-son and her son-in-law. He is the son of Gladys' second husband, and the husband of Gladys' daughter.
