H. D. ALVEY DIES AT ELIZABETHTOWN - Henry Damon Alvey, age eighty-one years, a former resident of near Hodgenville, died Saturday night at Lynhurst Nursing Home in Elizabethtown, following an extended illness. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. John E. Roark, of Hodgenville, and Mrs. Emil Brangers and Mrs. Edward Brangers, both of near Elizabethtown; twenty-five grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Laura Brown, of Louisville. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. John Catholic Church in Hardin County.
