Aaron and Maria had 14 children:
Peter Jefferson ‘Jeff' 1857 – 1935, he married Hannah Marguerite Gorman 10/8/1888;
James 1860 – 1928, he married Sarah E. ‘Emma' Hummer 9/9/1901;
Moses 1860 – 1880, died when he was 20;
Joseph 1864 – 1925, he married Mary Etta Alby 3/5/1889;
William H. 1865 – 1914, he married Fannie E. Phillips 11/24/1897;
Abraham 1868 – 1932, he married Cora Mae Phillips 11/24/1897;
John 1871 – 1945, he married Jessie Bassham 1/16/1899;
a son 1872 – 1872, died in infancy;
Ellen Elizabeth ‘Ellie' 1874 – 1889, died on her 15th birthday;
Lucy Ann 1875 – 1908, she married Edgar B. Conley;
a daughter 1876 – 1876, died in infancy;
George Walter 1877 – 1886, died when he was 8;
Mary 1878 – 1929, she married Norris B. McElfresh 4/3/1899;
Lewis Noah 1880 – 1939, he married Minnie E. Beer 1/16/1907.
Aaron and Maria, Ellen and George are all buried in St. Mary's Cemetery - Hartford, Lyon County, Kansas. I haven't been able to locate the graves of the two children who died in infancy.
George was nine when he died. Ellen died on her 15th birthday. Moses was 20 when he died. Two children died in infancy. The remaining 9 children are pictured on this memorial.
